Sunday Morning

The Word of God is the central focus of our Sunday Worship Services. We generally work our way through entire books of the Bible one chapter at a time with a view toward life application. Studying the Word of God in its entirety helps us cover every topic in its proper context. We trust that the Holy Spirit provides both inspiration and application that affects our every day life.

Worship

Worship here at Harvest takes on a free, open and relaxed style.  Our Worship Teams seek to be responsive to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and, in turn, to lead the Body of Christ into corporate praise and worship.

Position

Because we believe that it is the position of the heart that matters most to God, we feel that a person's physical position during worship - standing, sitting, clapping, raising hands, or just quietly listening and meditating - is a matter of individual choice and leading.

Prayer

It is our desire that our hearts be prepared to worship in spirit and in truth, so we begin with a time of corporate prayer in Room 5 from 9:30 to 9:45.  Everyone is welcomed to this time devoted to praying for the service, the worship team, the pastor and the elders.

Child Care

We have Crib Room and Sunday school for our youngest children (up through age 4) during the entire service time.  Following the worship portion of our service, children ages 5 through 15 are dismissed for Sunday school.  All these age-appropriate classes provide times of solid Bible teaching, Bible verse memorization, craft time, music and snack time.
